does the thread count? this piece is called, for love. inspired by Joyce Scott’s beaded sculptures and my love for performance art, the wearable is made to sit on the face and hang down the frontside of the body similar to an elephant's trunk. using the Peyote stitch beading method allows the beads to flow with the movement of the body and will dangle while on the face. this is an ancestral mask.

the tubular experiment three wings consists of three elements, plastic, metal, and air. this acrylic glass box created with Rhino 3D software encapsulates the steel through its oxidation process.
untitlted, uplostry nails, steel, 9ft
with merging the head end of an upholstery nail then assembling them on top of vertical screws, untitled captures light and sound. the reflecting light casts slanted angular repetitive shadows of the steel onto the wall. the bits from the upholstery nails sit on the two steel nail planks that hold them up until the destiny of gravity tugs them on the ground and produces a sound similar to rubbing the ends of a plastic hair comb.

hand coiled horsehair and coiled brass. you can use this 9 foot tail to scare off the devil during jouvert celebrations. each brass ring was coiled and cut by hand to create rings then attached to the horsehair belt.
